As a registered nurse, I find the work environment to be challenging, fun, and I learn something new every day. I enjoy working with the clients and caregivers, developing relationships with them along the way.
My colleagues are awesome and we are all invested in the success of this company. I have always been treated honestly and fairly by the owners. Pros challenging, fun, good hours. Cons can get a bit stressful at times. My job is a good job and the people I work with are great people and going to family homes and taking care of there loves one's is a blessed and healthy environment great people to work with and get to no more about and there every day life.
I love working for Angel Companion. I love the staff, and especially our clients. We Angel love what we do. We love meeting the needs of our clients and clients family. Poor management Terrible human resource department More concerned with parking spaces than the quality of care given to clients Very passive aggressive and unprofessional office staff.
I feel like the supervisor lied to me and client. The supervisor told client I was sick when I wasn't. Client kept sending me home early I let supervisor know then I was talking off the case until client requested me back.

This was the worst if you work overtime they take it back and never pay you the worst company ever I wouldn't recommend this company to no one ever beware. Management hardly supported or came out to support the efforts of the workers.
I gave them four stars out of five because they did continuously offer me work in cases I did have ongoing clients but I did not like that they try to send you places that are far from where you live or where you say you can work. Pros Continuous work. I worked at Angel Companions in the office and hated every minute of it. They took advantage of my age and completely under paid me. A girl went in after me who I knew making more than I did just because she was older yet we did the same exact work!

The company makes too many promises to the clients and expect the workers to adhere to it.
For instance they advertise light house work, but expect the workers to clean the client's refrigerator, clean their windows; this to me is the work for a industrial worker, not a caregiver. Under current management the company was in process of revamping and did not meet many needs of its current employees even though efforts were made to do so. Yes There are 5 helpful reviews 5 No. This was my first job as a CNA. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My first client was full time but after she passed it seemed like they only had a bunch of 2 or 4 hour Cases which i did not like. Over all the job was good. A little light on the pay and no benefits but it was good for experience!

I had a client's daughter get aggressive with me and I was told from angel companions that i should have gotten help or basically go cry inthe corner like they would've. I didn't hit the daughter but if I woulda known walking away and ignoring her would have gotten me fired, I would have knocked her out.
