I just want to walk around, getting lost in London town. Posted in London life. Tagged art , food , London , weather. There are loads of things I love about living in London. The city is eclectic, a cosmopolitan metropolis stuffed to the brim with architecture and people, all jostling for their own bit of precious space in a city so vastly expansive but yet so crowded. They stay in a ball at the bottom of your drawer for the end of a hard day at work, when you can wiggle them on.

In a little over six months we have succeeded in forcing CRT to abandon their draconian proposals to make life on the Lee more challenging for boaters.
NBTA London would like to congratulate the hundreds of boaters from London and around the country who have contributed to this victory. But now they know our community has the taste of success in this campaign and we shall not just stand by while they make any new attempts to introduce measures which will have a negative effect on our community. And further more, there has always been too many of us.
In , claiming that boat numbers on the Lee and Stort was too high, BW attempted to impose 6 neighbourhoods covering the whole of the Lee and Stort 4 on the Lee, 2 on the Stort.
Boaters would be allowed to stay in a neighbourhood for only 14 days 7 on the Stort and Hertford Union before moving to the next. Despite struggling to form anything approaching a legal proposal. Our actions will win! Together as a community we will stop CRT behaving in this way! Although many bands perform here, it is known for more indie rock music.
The Electric Ballroom has been a long-standing concert venue in London. It has established itself as a great venue to see shows of both popular and up-and-coming bands from all over.
It may not be the most aesthetic of the venues in London, but the atmosphere makes for many unforgettable shows. Globally known bands play here frequently, but it is also known to be home to a lot of smaller, local shows showcasing up-and-coming bands. The layout of the venue gives everyone a good view of the stage and enables everyone to have an intimate experience.
