In Bruce's song "Voodoo" was an Oscar contender for best song in a motion picture. He's also had many other artists record his original songs. Bruce is a dynamic and engaging performer with strong guitar based arrangement's which draw on his considerable prowess as a guitarist. He has a wry sense of humor and loves the intimacy of coffeehouses and living room concerts best of all. I try to convey through my songs that there are blessings and gifts that ultimately come from accepting and embracing our own woundedness and that our pain becomes the source of compassion for ourselves and others.
Originally from Ohio, Bruce currently resides in Nashville with his family where he continues to perform, write and produce music. He also teaches songwriting privately and is a song mentor for Global Songwriters Connection. Create a free account. The Delicious Blues Stew were not only amazing but entertaining as well on Sunday.
Open mic night Monday jammed with alot of talent that was " paired" by the staff. These musicians dont know who theyre playing with until called on stage We havent eaten there yet but plan on it later in the week Printers Alley Gem. This place is so fun! The talent they bring in is amazing. It is a great break from all the honky tonk bars. We got there mid afternoon and had no problem getting a table. The manager served us and she was awesome!! We left and decided to come back later that night we loved it so much.
Unfortunately the gal that took over for the manager after her shift was over was awful! All was fixed, however. The owner came over, found us chairs, and checked on us regularly. He even invited us to come back the next morning to be in a video they were shooting for Sara Evans? Amy Grant? Anyway, we had to fly out that morning or we would have come to check it out.
Very friendly management, they appreciate your business!!! We stumbled across this little blues bar in Printer's Alley on a Saturday afternoon. The music begins at noon and doesn't stop until the wee hours of the morning. Music was incredible! It wasn't crowded at all and we enjoyed it so much. There's also no cover charge if you go in the afternoon. We plan to go back again with a group of friends who love good music, but who don't love the night life. This is a great option for a fun day out and still get back home to the kids before it's too late.
I'm sure the night time would be a blast too! Printers Alley was a short walk from the Double Tree where we were staying. We truly enjoyed the great band with a three piece horn section. Unfortunately ordering was difficult due to the loudness of the music. Food seemed a bit overpriced. Would recommend. Skip to main content. Sign in to get trip updates and message other travelers.
