There was a long line to get into the dining room, so I went to the takeout counter and got a chicken enchilada dinner to go. The corn tortillas that the chicken was wrapped in were so hard.
But I know Mexican food and corn tortillas and I think that the tortillas had stayed on the grill warming for too long, causing them to completely dry out. The rice had no taste whatsoever. I will say that the refried beans were good. The service was very friendly and quick, considering how busy they were. I love Mexican food and I love the country of Mexico. But, this places food is horrible and the flavor of the enchiladas was not memorable.
It took a long time to get served. No thank you! Food was okay with generous portions. My husband was sick for 6 days. Needed to go to the doctors. They sat our Geri up of seven with 1 minute of closing. They were kind and gave us great service. We were tired and delayed, so the meal came as a very nice thing. Food was good and service was nice and courteous. Place is I will eat here again. We landed late in Charlotte last night and this is one of the few places open. The food was absolute slop.
Never again. Save your money and go to Burger King. Also, the flour tacos were hard on the edges and dripping wet underneath. No care or detail in the manner that were served.
Ate lunch here and ordered house margaritas with lunch. Got our check and it said ultimate doubles. Our chips and salsa and queso lack any and all flavor. The queso is nacho cheese, not queso.

There is no clear direction as to whether you seat yourself or wait. The "hostess" is standing at the back of the restaurant playing on his phone finger waving at guests to seat them. Bar tender was extremely rude to a guest who asked about the seating. I watched a total of 12 people walk away in disgust because they had stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for over 10 min.
